New Phase I Training & Marketing Enhancements for Your USANA Business

I wanted to focus this week's training on some new enhancements to Integritas Group.  There are two enhancements: the Marketing tab in the system and the other is the Phase I training.

First, we made some enhancements to the marketing tab:

With the Anti Suit EntrepreneurMLMCompletePackage as well as future marketing methods (including customer and business marketing methods), people have had a need to provide links to various pages on the marketing websites to give to people.  Knowing what link to give and making sure you put your Invitation Code (the code that makes sure your contacts go to you through a website that everyone uses) in the link is challenging for many.  Usually, only the "internet geeks" can figure it, so we added this section (only Anti Suit Entrepreneur right now, but others will follow in the coming weeks) that will allow to simply copy and paste a link to the page you want to send your prospects to and the link takes care of the rest. It will:

1) Send your prospect to the desired page, video, or area on the website you them to see.
2) Make sure your Invitation Code gets attached to your prospect for now and the future (they can leave the website and come back again)
3) Track your overall clicks for each, so you have an idea of the activity on that link.

It's that simple.

Second, we made some enhancements to the Phase I training.

We added a New Welcome to Integritas Group and USANA video which is short and sweet and welcomes your future downline to the community.

Our Book is Live, For Sale, and Shipping! - This can help you grow USANA big time!

On my last Integritas Group training, I discussed the importance of going into the holidays with the attitude of “gaining momentum” with USANA as opposed to “taking a break” from USANA.

Our book has been released in paperwork and Kindle in next few days and there are more versions to come in the next couple of weeks.  The point is that this isn’t just a book release; it’s a full marketing method.

Now, before I can continue, notice I keep saying "the book" and I don't use it's name. It's because I don't want this training article popping up on Google when people search for the book title. Why? Because I want the book to stand on it's own without any mention of USANA.  The complete marketing process is built around naturally letting the person get to where you are mentally and emotionally in understanding why USANA is a great vehicle to get the lifestyle they want.  Besides, network marketing and USANA isn't for everyone and maybe the book still can help them without shoving USANA down their throat.  It's just smart marketing and respect for our potential prospects. Let's let them come to their own conclusions while we use the book to point them in the right direction. Hopefully that makes sense to you.

Using USANA Reset To Raise Money for Organizations

One of my downline, Destrie Monis asked a great question today. He said he paid $30 to become a vendor at a charity event and was asking me what product he should promote and how he should go about promoting it as a vendor at that event.

I suggested he combine a charity component to the Reset Marketing Method that Chris Lopez put together in Integritas Group.

I have seen many different variations on integrating USANA and charity events or organizations.

Here is my suggestion for Destrie:

Step One: Prepare Forms & Advertisments

At the top the form, call the event, "Shedding the Pounds for [Name of Charity Event / Cause / Organization].

Prepare forms that collect first name, last name, email address, cell phone number (so you can text and call them), and Facebook account (so you can friend them).

Step Two: Be Able To Explain This To Your Audience

Understand how to talk to about the program you proposing, so when Destrie goes to the event, he will know what to say to people to get them to fill out the form.

You preface what you are about to say (more on this in a minute) with the name of the event "Shedding the Pounds for ABC Scholarship."  Then incorporate the full RESET Marketing Method we have put together in Integritas Group.

Quick Example:

"I am getting a team of people together who want to shed the pounds, lose the food cravings, and raise money for their favorite charity.  Would you know anyone who would be interested in that?"

In order to explain the RESET program and the "team concept" we have in Integritas Group, you will need to study the RESET training manual put together by Chris Lopez in our RESET Training blog entry. It is well down and has generated lots of top preferred customer enrollers in USANA.

As far as explain the charity aspect, you do this: "The way the charity aspect works is that the people who want to lose the cravings and shed the pounds get people to pledge money (just like Relay for Life  or other Walk-A-Thons). People pledge money for each pound."

Obviously, Destrie audience will be at this charity event and he will MORE interest in it, because he is doing something that benefits the scholarship.  However, any audience you can get a hold of can work. People you work with, organizations that raise money that you know, or any other situations where people would be open to shedding some pounds, losing some cravings and helping a charity.

If you don't have a specific money raising event like Destrie has in this case, you can do something for your favorite charity.  You can also tailor your team RESET programs around everyone's charity.  You could call it Shedding Pounds for Your Favorite Charity.  Then everyone in the RESET teams you get together (based on the Integritas Group training) can get pledges for each pound that is lost for THEIR favorite charity.  You could have multiple teams you are working with and each person could be losing pounds for a different charity.

The point is being flexible and finding a way to make it work for you and your RESET teams.

Step Three: Take This To Another Level

If you really want to take this to next level, you get a hold of the charity leader or organization, so they can get behind what you are doing and promote your RESET teams to the people who are a part of the charity or organization to increase your audience. Why would they do this?  Because they want to raise as much money as possible and the more people losing pounds and the more pledges, the more money they make!

So in Destrie's situation, once this event is over, he should contact the person who sold him the vendor spot and whoever is in charge of this scholarship and pitch the idea.  What should be explained is if they can connect him to an audience that they know of (their circle of influence both personally and through the organization), he could talk about the team RESET program concept with the added discussion of "You can raise money for ABC scholarship."

He needs to explain that it's a win-win-win for everyone.  The people who want to get healthier, lose the food cravings, shed the pounds get what they want, we raise money based on pledges for each pound lost from each person who is in the group, and I benefit by getting my product and business out there.

Conclusion

Building USANA is all about how creative you can be with your business and I wrote this article, because Destrie called me today and asked for my input.  This is what we came up with. If he implements it right, it can "kick-butt."

How to Identify the "Vitamin Supplement" Personalities: Two Main Methods

Many USANA Associates overcomplicate determining a person's "vitamin supplement personality." It's very easy thing to do, but many people don't do it or skip over the step before handing out a USANA HealthPak or USANA Essentials sample. There are two main ways for determining a person's "vitamin supplement personality."

Method #1: Direct Approach

The first method is the direct approach where you ask a direct question, "Do you take supplements?" or similar.  It's easy, simple and very effective.  The person will give you a direct answer back of "yes" or no."

Usually with one question you'll know the person's "vitamin supplement personality."

Method #2: Observing and Listening

Just keep your ears open and listen to what people are actually saying to you and around you.  All the time people are sharing details about their health and what they're doing for the health.  That often includes people talking about supplements and vitamins.

Use Both Methods

Many USANA Associates will lean towards one approach over the other because of their personality.  And that's fine.  However, don't get fixated on one and never do the other.  That's just poor sales.  If you learn and use both you'll get more USANA customers and also be able to help your downline.
