This post and video will walk you through the technique that I use to stay organized on a week to week basis when it comes to getting the "Money Making Activities" (an activity that leads to getting new Associates or PC's) done so I can grow my USANA business. You'll get the most out of this post if you have gone through the USANA Zig Zag Goal Setting Course. The YouTube video below will go into the most depth... so watch it! This blog post is more of a summary.

USANA Weekly Planning Step #1: Create a Planning Guide
The Planning Guide is your master document or reference document. You'll put all the important things you need to do on a weekly basis on here. Remember, success in USANA is all about doing the small things consistently. The Planning Guide will help you do this.
I have three areas on my Planning Guide:
- Planning To-Do's: This section is to help me when I plan out my week.
- Weekly To-Do's: This section has the the to-do's that I need to get on a weekly basis.
- Daily To-Do's: This section has the to-do's that I need to do on a daily basis.
USANA Weekly Planning Step #2: Plan Your Week
This part is explained in detail in the video, please watch it. I create a new to-do list each week with a section for the "weekly to-do's" and each day for the "daily to-do's." I do this because having a new to-do list for each day really helps you to focus on the "Money Making Activities" that you need to get done. Plus, I haven't met a person who does not enjoy crossing things off of the to-do list!
There are numerous smart phone apps that you can buy to help you stay organized. Unless you're very tech savvy, I highly recommend that you start out on paper first. I've seen to many people spend more time figuring out a program that actually planning their week!
USANA Weekly Planning Step #3: Carry Your To-Do List Everywhere!
Attach the paper to your hip! Take it everywhere! Look it at constantly throughout the day. This helps you to stay mentally focused on building USANA. It'll help you stay on track with the "Money Making Activities." I've seen way to many USANA Associates squander free time throughout the day. Whenever you have free time, pull out this to-do list instead of Facebook on your phone! I promise that your friends' posts can wait!
Every time you do something, cross it off the to-do list. It'll help you see how much you've done throughout the week and also give you the satisfaction of crossing off your to-do list.
USANA Weekly Planning Step #4: Repeat
Get in the habit of planning each and every week out. Depending on my schedule, I plan on Sunday evening or Monday morning. Regardless, I always plan. Don't only plan your upcoming week, but also review your previous week's to-do list: Did you accomplish everything? Does anything need to carry forward?
Again, watch the YouTube video at the top of this post for a more in depth explanation.
