Over the last couple of years, Chris Lopez and I have put emphasis on the Develop step in our Communication training that is our Integritas Group system for USANA. We have had a ton of people who have had changes in their business and they approach people completely change leading to more customers and USANA associates.
I want to take this Develop step one step further especially if you are someone who has been doing for a while. The concept I’m about to introduce can also apply to many of you who aren’t familiar with our training. This is something I have been doing with my own downline. I call it Target 2.
The way it works is simple. You have been developing relationships with your prospects (online or offline), right? I hope so. If not, then it’s time to start. That’s another issue we won’t get into here. What I ask my downline at the beginning of each USANA week, Sunday or Monday is “Target 2?”
If that downline is someone that I have given this mission of Target 2 know exactly what I am asking for and what it means. Who are the two people you are going to target this week in your contact list? Who are the two people you haven’t touched with USANA products or at least the concept of a business to solve their current concerns / problems?
Examples of Target 2 potentials:
1) Friend / family member that talks off and on about doing something for him/herself, yet you haven’t developing that much, so you don’t know how to bring up USANA as a solution. They don’t know anything about network marketing or USANA. How the Anti Suit Entrepreneur book? Target 2 and ASE Marketing Method is your ticket.
2) Friend / family member that has been in MLM before but not now, but is still reaching for something. You aren’t sure how they feel about MLM or where they are at? Target 2 and ask them if they willing to look at it again. If so, have them plug into our MLMCompletePackage.com podcasts or YouTube videos to get a different perspective on MLM.
3) Friend / family member that is concerned about weight, body fat, type II diabetes. Target 2 and RESET. Great time of the year to do that. Check out Chris Lopez’s Marketing Method on how to sell RESET.
4) Friend / family member who feel would benefit from USANA’s Healthpak or Essentials. Target 2 and sample the Healthpak. Again, Chris put together some great training in our Healthpak Marketing Method.
These are just examples of many scenarios that you can go for. The point is that I find a lot of people “build” the business but they don’t BUILD the business. You may have a lot of potential contacts who are ready to hear about USANA (the Introduce step in our Communication training), but if you don’t target them and move forward with them, then your business won’t go anywhere.
So many leaders just say “you just need to take action.” I cannot agree with this more, however, taking action without a plan or “know-how” doesn’t make a lot of sense. That’s what leads to those weird conversations that the Develops step was created to prevent. That said, you need to balance that with action and moving to the Introduce step, so your business grows. That’s why I created the Target 2. If you start out by targeting at least two people a week seriously, you will begin to gain momentum, confidence, and start harvesting those relationships you have been building in the Develop step of the Communication training.
So go out and TARGET 2!
